Our Commitment

HEAd’24 is committed to creating a conference environment that is safe, inclusive, and conducive to open dialogue and exchange. We believe every participant contributes to the diversity and richness of our community.

Expected Behavior

  • Respect the diversity of viewpoints and experiences.
  • Engage constructively and collaboratively.
  • Be mindful of your surroundings and fellow participants.
  • Act with integrity and respect in all interactions.

Unacceptable Behavior

  • Harassment in any form.
  • Discrimination based on race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, nationality, or religion.
  • Intimidation, stalking, or following.
  • Sustained disruption of talks or other events.

Reporting and Enforcement

Any participant asked to stop unacceptable behavior is expected to comply immediately. If a participant engages in unacceptable behavior, the conference organizers may take any action they deem appropriate. If you are subject to or witness unacceptable behavior, or have any other concerns, please contact a member of conference staff immediately. Staff can be identified by special badges.

Scope

This code applies to all conference-related venues, including talks, workshops, social events, and online media.

For concerns regarding policy violations at HEAd’24, please promptly contact the conference chairs at headconf@upv.es. Reports submitted during the conference will receive a response within 24 hours, and those submitted at other times will be addressed within two weeks. All complaints and violations will be handled discreetly. We are committed to assisting attendees in accessing necessary help services, providing safe escorts, and ensuring a secure environment for those affected by harassment. Your feedback on our policies and actions is highly valued.

By participating in HEAd’24, you agree to abide by this Code of Conduct at all conference venues and conference-related social events.
