Presentation instructions

Authors of accepted papers should submit a video or a PowerPoint presentation (with video and/or audio) that will be shared with conference participants and will be used as backup in case connection fails during the assigned time slot. It must not last longer than 15 minutes. For preparing the presentation, you may use the official Power Point slides of HEAd’20, which are available here.

Recorded presentations should be sent to headconf@upv.es at your earliest convenience, preferably before 30 May. Authors are encouraged to upload the videos to a streaming platform such as YouTube (with private sharing) or to use a file sharing service such as WeTransfer.

Regular sessions

Paper presentations will be scheduled in virtual rooms. Each room will host a parallel session which will include 3-6 paper presentations. Each paper is allocated 20 minutes, including Q&A. The conference organization will encourage the interaction between authors and other participants to facilitate the discussion.

In case author’s connection fails, the recorded presentation will be played in the session room by the conference organization.

Non-linear sessions

There will be a number of papers presented in non-linear sessions during the conference. Each paper will be presented in its own virtual room, so that participants can move around the different rooms and have informal meetings with the authors. There will be three specific time slots in the conference schedule for these presentations.

Authors of these presentations are encouraged to prepare a short PowerPoint presentation (3-4 slides max) to be used as support material during the informal meetings.

In case author’s connection fails, the recorded presentation will be played in the paper room by the conference organization.
